On the wine trail in Weinfelden, you can experience the historic village centre and the vineyards of Weinfelden, Boltshausen and Ottoberg. Along the way, more than 30 panels provide information on the development of the vineyards, winemaking, the different varieties and the winegrowers of the region. In addition, a wine safe awaits hikers along the 9-kilometre route, where they can taste the winemakers' delicious wine. The restaurant Stelzenhof is located in the middle of the beautiful recreational area on the Ottenberg with many hiking, cycling and walking trails. With the May Dance on Sundays and holidays in May, the family-owned inn maintains a tradition that has existed since 1933. The restaurant convinces with fine food, a good drop from the wine cellar and ice cream specialities. The cosy garden restaurant is a popular meeting place for young and old. There is a playground for children at the back of the garden.
Weingut Burkhart
The Weingut Burkhart is a credit to the town of Weinfelden. Over 6 hectares of the extensive vineyards are cultivated by the winery. Pinot Noir, Rondo, Pinot Blanc, Müller-Thurgau and Kernling grow in the vineyards. On a tour with the winegrowers through the vineyard and cellar, followed by a tasting, guests can experience the vineyards of Weinfeld with all their senses. In 2015, the Burkhart winery was voted one of the top 100 wineries in Switzerland by Gault Miliau.

The restaurant Thurberg is located on the southern slope above Weinfelden and offers a beautiful panoramic view. Weingut Broger
The Weingut Broger is located above Boltshausen. The small winery has been pressing grapes on its own and leased vineyards since 2002. The grapes are pressed directly on the farm. In addition to Pinot Noir, Müller-Thurgau and Weissherbst, you can also find a fine wine marc brandy at the Broger winery. Guided tours and tastings can be booked on request.
