Kloster Fischingen
The Benedictine monastery in Fischingen is the only monastery in Thurgau still inhabited by monks. In addition to a comprehensive range of seminars, the monastery also offers a rich cultural programme. Especially lovers of classical music get their money's worth at Fischingen Monastery. The monastery also has its own brewery. The PILGRIM beer is produced there. The brewery can be visited on a guided tour and the beer tasted.
Barefoot and panorama trail
The magnificent surroundings around the Nollen can be experienced with all the senses on the barefoot and panorama trail. On four or seven kilometres of trail, you will be surprised by completely new sensory impressions via the soles of your feet. Meadows, streams, forest floors and specially erected sensory posts alternate with short stony or asphalted sections. Your heart and eyes will also be delighted, because along the way you will have a wonderful view of the Seerücken, Lake Constance and as far as the Alpstein.
Thurgauer Tannzapfenweg
The region around Fischingen Monastery is a true hiker's paradise. The Thurgauer Tannzapfenweg begins at the monastery, a pearl among Swiss architectural monuments, and leads via an ascent in shady forests up to the highest point in the canton of Thurgau. During the hike, the beautiful pre-Alpine hilly landscape and breathtaking views can be enjoyed.

The Bed & Breakfast Villa "Mon Repos" in Aadorf is located in a listed villa dating back to 1905. The house has been renovated with great attention to detail and now welcomes guests to the accommodation premises. The B&B is a central but at the same time relaxed retreat with a warm host couple. The high rooms give the house a special character. A large garden invites you to unwind while the children explore the tree house.
Huggenberger Veloroute
The Huggenberger route starts in Frauenfeld, leads via Oberwil and an ascent to Gerlikon. From there there is a magnificent view over the Thurtal valley to the Seerücken. Via Tänikon, it goes over rural landscapes to the foot of the Haselberg and from there to the route destination in Balterswil. The route is dedicated to the dialect poet and farmer Alfred Huggenberger. His poems and stories can be found in school books and collected works.
Barfuss Brewery
A small but exclusive brewery is the Barfuss Brewery in Schönholzerswilen. The various beers with different flavours are completely convincing. In addition to guided tours, tastings and company dinners, there are also regular events. When visiting, it is important to note that this is only possible by appointment.

Nafzger GmbH in Wängi is a Thurgau family business that is already being run by the third generation. Among other things, the award-winning "Nafzger's Original Thurgauer Mosttorte" can be purchased, which brings out the best in the apple.
