It was once a welcomed relief in the hard work of agriculture – but today it has changed into a a creative form of accommodation: The latest «Himmelbett» from Thurgau Tourism has been created on the wagon of a Rapid Spezial. In mild summer nights the single-axle vehicle with double bed can be parked under your favorite apple tree on the Hagschnurer farm in Hüttwilen. In this exceptional open-air location, with nothing but the apple tree and the stars above you, you can experience the scents and colors of Thurgau nature unfiltered and up close.

Dreaming suspended with a view

In a remote corner of the Thurgau, on the hillside of the Nollen, stands a floating bed. And floating is what you really do here – on a cloud of well-being. The double bed is attached on a wooden frame and gently lulls you to sleep, protected from view in the middle of nature under the open sky with a wonderful view of the gentle green expanses of the Thurgau. If you don't like rocking, fasten the bed. The floating bed stands on the land of the farm Wunderli in Hosenruck. In case of bad weather, a roof can be extended, or you can switch to a room on the farm. A breakfast basket is included and served right to the bed on request.
