WEINWEG Weinfelden
The route of the wine trail leads from Weinfelden railway station via Ottoberg and Boltshausen back to Weinfelden.
The nine-kilometre hiking trail takes around three hours to complete. Along the vineyards, you can look down from the southern slopes of the Ottenberg into the Thur valley. Even wine connoisseurs can learn something new from the various information boards along the way. Unusual resting places invite you to take a break: The art installations along the route were made especially for the wine trail. The enjoyment of wine itself is not neglected either: at the SBB railway station counter in Weinfelden, excursionists receive a wine trail rucksack with provisions and a glass as well as a code to the wine safe. If you don't want to walk the wine trail on your own, a guide and individual tastings can be organised on site.
