Transitory museum and station trail
Not only pile dwellers left their traces in Pfyn, one of the oldest settlements in Eastern Switzerland, but there are also many finds from Roman times. These are exhibited in the Transitory Museum, among other places. The associated station trail also provides an insight into the long, rich and eventful history of Pfyn.
With its collection, the Transitory Museum presents a cross-section of the history of Pfyn. The museum uses contemporary art methods and combines collecting, archival and artistic activities to create a coherent overall picture.
The station trail, which is part of the museum, allows visitors to discover interesting background information on the history of Pfyn at ten locations on a tour of the village. The information boards are illustrated with pictures and a flyer provides further interesting facts.
