Restaurant Krone by the lake
Modern, varied and regional. The Krone restaurant convinces with its wonderful location on the harbour of Altnau, uncomplicated self-service on the summer terrace and high-quality cuisine in the elegant à la carte restaurant.
The Krone restaurant is located in the Thurgau apple village of Altnau directly on Lake Constance. It is divided into two parts. Inside, guests can expect a stylish fine dining restaurant with modern cuisine featuring many regional products and creative vegetarian and vegan dishes. The wine list shines with excellent wines from Thurgau, but also from Switzerland and Europe. The second part outside is called ‘Krone Easy’. This is a cosy summer terrace with simple menus for self-service or take-away. Here, orders can be placed and collected on site, online from the Altnau beach next door or even by boat. Both parts of the Krone, restaurant and terrace, have one thing in common: the wonderful view of the lake. The Krone is also an ideal starting or finishing point for excursions around and across Lake Constance. The Altnauer Apfelweg, a themed trail about the red-cheeked fruit for which Thurgau is so famous, starts above the village.
