Echinapoint adventure centre

The Echinapoint experience centre in Roggwil allows visitors to immerse themselves in the world of naturopathy. How does the medicinal plant get into the bottle? Who was Alfred Vogel? How does the red coneflower, echinacea, work? Visitors can find the answers in the large adventure herb garden in Roggwil.

The Echinapoint experience centre in Roggwil is the mouthpiece of A. Vogel AG in Roggwil, a traditional manufacturer of organic natural remedies. The history of naturopathy can be experienced here. In the herb garden, which is laid out like a flower, visitors can explore with all their senses the production and mode of action of herbal medicines as well as the life and work of naturopathy pioneer Alfred Vogel. Guests learn how to maintain their personal health in a natural way or what a healthy, wholesome diet looks like. Incidentally, the name EchinaPoint comes from Alfred Vogel's favourite plant Echinacea, the red coneflower. He brought this plant back to Switzerland from a trip to America in the 1950s. Echinacea is still used today to strengthen the immune system, among other things. The adventure centre is open daily and admission is free. Guided tours for groups are available by prior arrangement.
