The PILGRIM brewery in the Benedictine monastery Fischingen is a real monastery brewery. Here, the well-known PILGRIM beer specialties with up to 16% are brewed from monastery water and traditional recipes and partly matured in wooden barrels in the 300-year-old monastery cellar.
The approximately 15 different PILGRIM beers are available in the brewery store, in the monastery restaurant and in the online store at www.pilgrim.ch. The range includes great craft beers such as Waldbier, Weizenbock, IPA or Farmhouse Ale, the famous wood barrel-aged Grand Crus with up to 16% alcohol as well as the abbey beers in champagne bottles, which are brewed according to the traditional brewing methods of the Trappist monks. The PILGRIM brewery offers brewery tours with beer tastings for groups but also for individuals (public tour on the 1st Saturday of each month, by appointment).
