Art & Wine at Iselisberg

The Art & Wine trail on the Iselisberg leads along 23 sculptures by local artists and through the famous Iselisberg wine-growing region. Panels tell stories about viticulture and winemaking in the region. Winegrowers and restaurants offer tastings of their fine wines.

On the Art & Wine Experience Trail on the Iselisberg, visitors discover art in combination with wine and background information about its cultivation. From the end of May to the end of October, sculptures by local artists line the hiking trail up to the Iselisberg, a well-known wine-growing area in the Frauenfeld region. The signposted, two-hour circular trail leads from Uesslingen via Dietingen to Iselisberg and treats hikers to tranquil nature and picturesque views of the Thur Valley and the Bernese Alps. Information boards along the way tell you about the excellent wine that is grown here. And of course: the proof of the pudding is in the eating. The fine wines are best savoured in person at a winegrower's or in a restaurant along the way.

Hikers and connoisseurs can now buy a suitable tasting rucksack to accompany them along the way. This is equipped with wine, water, glasses, a flyer about the route and crispy grissini.
