1 route - 15 worlds

Starting below the source of the Hinterrhein, the first adventure world leads into the realm of castles, palaces and ruins. Under the motto "Mountain Flavour & Panorama", the route continues through the Rhine Gorge to the culinary heritage of the Surselva and on to Chur, Switzerland's oldest city. Then, in the sun kissed Bündner Herrschaft region, everything revolves around wine and the spa town of Bad Ragaz, where plenty of thermal water flows. A little further downstream, the journey of discovery takes you to the Alpine monarchy, where the motto is: princely hat meets summit cross. In the St. Gallen Rhine Valley, the journey continues with wine and farm shops before reaching the cantonal capital, or more precisely the cultural abbey district with its famous abbey library and baroque cathedral. Afterwards, the Mediterranean summer feeling and "dolce far niente" await on the shores of Lake Constance. In addition to beach bars and lovely lakeside restaurants, Thurgau has even more highlights to offer: Blossom splendour, apple juice, fishing villages, half-timbered houses and not forgetting the last French emperor - Napoleon the Third. In Schaffhauserland, the roaring waters and the charm of the medieval old town can be savoured before nature lovers and connoisseurs get their money's worth in Zurich's wine country. Last but not least, hops, architecture and thermal baths take centre stage on the Upper Rhine in Aargau. Tip: Turn the digital platform RheinWelten.com into your inspirational travel planner. "Madame Bluescht knows the most beautiful e-bike routes in Thurgau and knows exactly where and when the apple trees are in bloom."

Blossom splendour and apple juice

The annual spectacle in spring is a dream in white and pink, when thousands of apple trees awaken and their buds turn into a veritable sea of blossom. This is the most beautiful time of the year - it's time to saddle up your bike and head to Mostindien for the Bluescht bike tour, which takes you past the harbour town of Romanshorn, the Locorama adventure world and the Museum Autobau. The MoMö Cider Museum brings the entire world of apples, the role of bees and their care and everything to do with the apple universe to life - interactively and for all the senses.

Emperors and waterways

Charming fishing villages, half-timbered houses, well-kept restaurants and riverside promenades, castles and other buildings from different eras await along Untersee and the Rhine - even the last French emperor lived here at Arenenberg Castle with the world's only Napoleon Museum. A detour by e-bike to the Seerücken ridge provides a marvellous panoramic view over Untersee and the Rhine. Some sections between Kreuzlingen and Stein am Rhein can be easily travelled by boat, and the bike can be conveniently taken on board the URh.
